Community Event: 3rd Annual District Golf Tournament

Join the Ontario District Masons’ 3rd Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 29 at Newcastle Golf & Country Club.

Enjoy 18 holes of golf, a chance to win prizes, a BBQ dinner, and an afternoon spent supporting the four hospices serving Durham Region and Northumberland, including Hospice Whitby – Roger Anderson House.

Cost: $160 per player (includes golf, cart, dinner, a chance to win prizes, and awards)

Community Event: Lyndebrook Golf Course Charity Tournament

Taking place on Sunday, August 30, this fun-filled tournament welcomes golfers of all skill levels for a day of friendly competition, great food, and community spirit. Teams of five will enjoy a best ball format, with registration and breakfast to go beginning at 9:30 a.m., followed by a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start.

The day also includes a BBQ lunch, exciting prizes and raffles, and on-course competitions including Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Putting Contest, and a chance at a Hole-in-One prize.

Registration is $100 per person or $500 per team of five. Golf carts are available for an additional fee and must be reserved in advance.

Thank you to Lyndebrook Golf Course for organizing this community event in support of Hospice Whitby – Roger Anderson House and helping us bring compassionate end-of-life care closer to home.

Community Event: Be Well Expo

Join Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the Be Well Expo, a free community event dedicated to health, wellness, and connection.

Taking place at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 21 Garrard Road in Whitby, the event will feature health and wellness seminars, opportunities to connect with local community organizations, and complimentary refreshments for all attendees.

Hospice Whitby – Roger Anderson House is grateful to be participating alongside other community partners as we continue to build awareness and strengthen connections throughout Durham Region.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend.
